OUR PROJECTS

Jamboo is currently developing two parallel projects: a creative new housing model and a groundbreaking multi-use pavilion.

The aptly titled “BREEZE HOUSE PROTOTYPE” will feature breezy and open communal interior courtyards and interior spaces designed as bedrooms and sanctuaries for individuals, allowing for focus, reflection and study.

We are in the process of developing a fiber-based, affordable, housing prototype that will both celebrate and re-envision traditional Jamaican spaces.

“Quality, affordable housing is essential for a healthy civil society.”

The “MULTI-USE PAVILLION” being designed by the Jamboo team will feature a great arena, on the scale of Jamaica’s cane fields, mountains and ocean, that is meant to supplant the great houses of the plantation era and serve as a rebuttle to that past.

Made from natural full culm bamboo (round), will stand as a symbol of the new economy. Read more.
